Dr. Babu, a visionary Kinemetician and scientist with decades of expertise in material transformation, set out to create a unique material that combines the beauty, strength, and workability of wood while preserving forests. With the backing of Steer World, he developed unWOOD, an innovative material called Macro Molecular Fiber Matrix (MMFM) that unites sustainability, strength, and practicality while incorporating plastic waste in its formulation.
unWOOD is not merely an alternative; it is a sustainable breakthrough.
Every kilogram of unWOOD used prevents 1.5 kilograms of CO2 emissions from entering the atmosphere. It also diverts 500 grams of hard-to-recycle plastic from waste streams. Incorporating unWOOD into any space spares one mature tree from being cut.
